Sponsor a meal, donate materials, or purchase essential items that greatly impact our youth.

We’re always looking for ways to support young people. Here’s our current wish list.

We currently have open donation drop-off hours on Monday and Thursdays from 11am to 1pm.

Food
  • Sponsor a meal
  • Gift cards for fresh produce
  • Bottled water
  • Ready meals (ramen, cup-o-noodles, etc)
  • To-go snack foods
Basic Needs
  • Re-useable water bottles
  • Sunscreen
Clothing
  • Undershirts (new only, men’s and women’s, all sizes)
  • Bras* (all sizes/styles, gently used are okay)
  • Underwear (new only, men’s and women’s, all sizes, boxer briefs and cotton panties preferred)
  • Ankle socks
  • Sweatpants (sizes L–XXL)
Hygiene
  • Deodorant
  • Liquid body wash
  • Lip balm
  • Shaving cream
  • Travel-size tissues
  • Shower caps
  • Full-size shampoo and conditioner
  • African-American hair care products for relaxed or natural hair
Drop-In Household
  • Foodservice gloves
  • Liquid dish soap (Dawn or similar)
  • Laundry detergent (liquid or powder)
  • Paper plates and bowls
  • Trash bags (13-gallon and 8-gallon)
Personal
  • 31-day bus passes
  • Phone chargers (Apple and Android)
  • Backpacks (gently used are okay)
  • Headphones (Skullcandy or similar)

Kent County data indicates a low-risk level. Potential COVID transmission or exposure among AYA staff and/or youth is low. CDC and MDHHS guidance recommend continued masks and COVID mitigation strategies for homeless service providers.

MEASURES IN PLACE

Appointments for up to 10 youth at a time; COVID hours; Core community partners, plus wellness, 1 person/agency; normal donation drops
